On July 7th, at Wembley Stadium in London, Spinal Tap will reunite for the first time since they ended their "Back From The Dead Tour" at a Montreal comedy festival in July 2001. The 'cause of such a magnificent reuniting, you ask? Well, Global Warming, of course. Spinal tap will be playing at Live Earth, a Save Our Selves (SOS) campaign that will hold a world-wide concert held on all seven continents on July 7th, 2007 (7 continents on 7.7.07...cute).

There is also a 15 minute documentary from the original director of the "This Is Spinal Tap" rockumentory which depicts the English rocker's education about Global Warming as well as what the band has been up to over the past few years. It is scheduled to debute tonight at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York.
As you may know, we're pretty big Spinal Tap fans, we even named one of our bands Eleven after Nigel Tufnel's special Marshal head. Let me tell you, Eleven is pretty hard to get to, but we somehow managed to reach the coveted Eleven through a haze of Jagger Bombs, swarming beautiful fans, and freddy the attack duck. It was totally worth it.
